SuSE linux and EMC??

Hi Bill,
I have been interested in doing this also in the past with SUSE Pro 8.1
but settled with the TNG RedHat 7.xx version I downloaded as a disk image.
They did a fantastic job putting it together and went almost flawless.
There are a few utilities already in there for CNC so you might want to
consider it.
You probably already have the link but just in case here it is again:
http://www.linuxcnc.org/bdi/

I would like to find a way to Shoehorn it into SUSE though. Have you tried
and had any luck doing it?
I'm only familiar with the Pearl compiler for SUSE and can do minimal
stuff...
The only problems I see happening is, After changing the Kernel to RT then
any utility or update package that looks at Kernel version for SUSE will
abort with a Kernel Mismatch error.... Do you know a way around that?
That would be great to create a FAQ on how to setup with SUSE....

I think we would have a big learning curve here... YOU FIRST THROUGH THE
DOOR! <push!> LOL!

Vince
