Hi,
Pull the connector up and off of the drive. The revision number is
screened on the drive PCB in the area covered by the connector for
REV5 and later (REV10). The revision number is screened under the
100uF capacitor for REV2 thru REV4. If the connector color is grey
then you cannot remove it and the drive is definately REV1.
About the REV numbers: A new REV number is required even if so much
as a single resistor is moved on the board. Some revisions have been
major in the sense features have been added to the drives. Most are
minor and address fine-tuning various manufacturability issues.
