The software (emc dos real time) isn't quite ready. I have a copy running
on a 486-66 but it is too slow. I need to put it on my 133mhz machine. By
slow I mean that I can only get it to run at 20 ipm on the 486-66. Features?
All the codes in emc plus 130 line look ahead. I hope to get some more time
today and run some of the other commands.
I check with the author and see what his timeline is.
So far I have found that it will run under windows dos command and it looks
like a 486-66, standard svga monitor, a mouse and floppy drive with 16 Mb of
ram is all one really needs for a basic but somewhat slow system. But I
would think that a 200Mhz machine would make the system scream. It looks
like it needs at least ver 5 of DOS. Other than that it seems really quite
basic in hardware needs. I am in fact running it of a 1.4Mb floppy drive.
