You have it, the Z dosen't change when you take the tool out and put
it back in. It sounds like you have done a very good job of this with
the lathe. So know can you see where a quill and a knee under power
could be VERY cool. no more travle problems and you can have the
higher speed.

If any one would like to know more mail me off list and I will show
you exactily how I do the tool offest that don't need to be changed.
(I think I have something typed up for my students...)
