Hi Dan,
Mach2 has full tool compensation. You enter the X,Z offsets and tip radius
into a tool table. The offsets can then be selected manually or with G43. It
will now also directly control a toolchanger. You have to write a VBScript
macro but that is pretty easy to do. There are a few bugs in the toolchanger
code but hopefully they will be sorted out in the near future.
AFAIK TurboCNC has something similar but you would have to play around with
the source to directly control a toolchanger.
