On Timing Belts the ratios are determined by the tooth count.
You have to decide on a belt type first they differentiate
in pitch and size a 30 tooth "L" type would have a larger
diameter then a "XL" type of the same tooth count.
A combination of a 15 tooth and a 30 tooth will give a 1:2 ratio,
10 tooth and a 30 tooth will give 1:3 ratio and so on.
The key to choosing the right Tooth count is in the smaller
Pulley a minimum tooth count is required for smooth operation
more teeth are better.
The larger Pulley is determined by the choosen ratio the dia.
of this Pulley will have to be looked up in the MFG specs.
