While I'm justifying my contributions, here are a few more things I did:

- I've posted several times in the past few weeks about how well Amatek
servo motors work with Geckos, etc.

- I faxed rough drawings to the gentleman we did the spindles for. BTW,
I didn't charge him. I believe my words to him were "others have helped
me, so I'll help you... pass it on... "

- I recommended a spindle encoder (Cherry model from Digikey) and
described and sent a picture of its <nice> installation to the TCNC
moderator/group.

- I've spoken on the phone with several people interested in CNCing a
lathe or milling machine, offering advice where possible.

- I've relayed my thoughts, opinions and questions to a small group of
"CNC interested" individuals. I'd post them to the CAD_CAM... group,
but I had the impression it would be interpreted as being over the top.

Did I mention that I am incredibly busy at work ? I have made a very
special effort to share and communicate as much as possible to the CNC
community.
