Re: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] RF45s and clones: DON'T. My contributions...

In Kim's defense Jon,

I am the guy he sent the spindles and greatly aided in my questions in
conversion...Kim's delivery is often a bit more direct, which is a polite
way of saying what my wife nags me about doing similarly, the "engineer mode
of communication" which tends to offend sometimes :-). Kim has a good
point, which he made quite succinctly, that answering a question or 2,
really leads to about 50 more in direct succession when doiung one of these
conversions.
He was a great help and we still communicate today. Somebody though, really
does need to write a reference doc, much like the author of
Mach1/Mach2/Master 5 software, artofcnc.com, have done for cnc general
controller software use, but on the subject of machine conversion and ball
screw work. It would greatly help. Maybe somebody could take the time and
make a doc available, and ask a donation to supplant the cost of the time
investment needed....just a thought.
