This is an important point. Les W. posted a detailed method to get
the frame level and flat. reading his write-up, one realzes the time
invested in not small, days with a grinder.

I found a local heat treater that would charge around $500.00 to
stress release (relive?) the table after welding.


As a way to circumvent that work, I looked at mounting steel rails on
the frame and leveling and aligning those with shims and such.
reduces the work considderabley.

also, with a wood bed for a rounter, one can take a skim pass to get
a flat surface.

and for a plasma table, one can level the mounting points, again a
lot less work.

bottom line, this is not a bolt together hobby. there is some real
work involved !
