Hi Daniel,

How close? I'd splice with similar sized wire (solder joints), and slip
shrink tubing over the splices. But I'm sure you're familiar with
wiring. I'd go on to say make the joints staggered to each other, if
you can, and then include all in larger shrink tubing.
