Don't try to do that... you'll likely distort the screw. Most, if not all
CNC Controllers have a 'scaling' feature that allows you to cancel out the
effects of lead pitch error.
BTW, the best line I've ever heard was, "You're not dumb; you're smart
enough to ask questions".
