Rockford Ballscrew offers 5/8" rolled ballscrews for significantly less.
And, they will machine the ends for $60/end or anneal the ends for $10/end.

I initially went with a single nut with oversized ball bearings on my
quill assembly but found that I got 0.0015-0.002" backlash. Going to a
dual nut pre-loaded assembly reduced that to about 0.0002-5".
