Howdy..
My Redhat 9.0 works 100% of the time. Linux Mandrake works. Some
of the smaller distros may not (disasters?). They are getting more
like windows/MAC for non-initiated users.
I don't know hardly anything about Redhat Linux except to turn it
on. LOAD the browser, unload the camera pictures, print, word
processors. FOR that it works flawlessly. It loads a OS new each time
it starts, looks for new equipment. AND, it took me about half a day
to get the cable and router to work in Windows, about two minutes in
Linux, it grabbed the setup and numbers out of the router. MORE
friendly than windows. Linux is much closer to the hardware.
OHH my did that sound like a commercial? SOrry.. I am not happy
about the Redhat change, once again they are ignoring us small end users.
