Hi Ken,

i use autocad but i guess Dolphin will do similair functions.
For the type of thing you describe i think a radial array would be the
quite practical.
In Autocad i would specify a centre point, usually 0.00,0.00 and then draw
a line of the appropriate length snapped to it. then click on the array tool
and specify a radial array adding in how many items i want, rotate as it
goes and over how many degrees i want it ie 5 items over 360 degrees. the
program will then space them equidistantly around the central point which
being 0.00,0.00 means that you can set up your machine tool centre fairly
easily.
Once you get the hang of it its a very easy tool to use and very useful too
as you can use it for clock faces, sundials any angle guage at all really.
