Ballscrew adjustments, continued

Like Steve said, with a searchable subject. Has anyone seen shims in a
Bridgeport ballscrew setup? Apparently there is a difference between
the bearings on ballscrews and leadscrews. The ballscrews use the
precision version of the Fafnir 204kt4, which are machined as a
matched pair. Can anyone do a reality check on that?
