This is off topic, so please reply off list.

Since this list has grown and grown and there are not at least a
dozen off-shoots, I would like to request people send me links to
other lists that would be good references for questions like this.

I'm a member of too many lists to be active in most, so some are just
under my radar.

If you know of a group that is some expansion of this one for
machines, or CNC or repair or making parts or whatever, please send
me an e-mail with that link and a small note about what that list if
for.

I'll put together a large list for us all so we can post our
questions on the most approprate list.
