A long time ago, in a place far, far away, I use to make all kind of special
laps for damaged leadscrews and gear teeth using Devcon and mixing in
abrasive compound then casting a "good section" of the area to be replicated
and then when cures used it to stone the bad area. It worked great so I see
no reason why moglice wouldn't work well as a half nut repair.
Moly-disulfide is used as anti seize compound for fasteners. It would be
interesting to mix some of the cheaper expoxies with anti seize to9 see if
it will cure properly
