It sounds like he is talking about the frequency signal outptut that
is present when MACH2 has the ports under full control.

To add this feature to your existing cards, this looks like a lower
cost alternative.

I hated the Power On Self Test that made things do funny things on my
machine. Before the freq output, I just added a time dealy realy so
when I turned on the master switch, the outputs were dead of power
for a minute. That allowed everything to come up.

This seems like a another option.
