Hi Ron;
You might try a standard end mill, the twist of the flutes should throw
the chips up and out. Sounds like you are using the old D cutter. They are
still used in machine shops,but only rarly.
With an endmill you should be able to feed faster, 4 flute mill, 4 times
faster(depending on machine rigidity).
