TurboCADCAM is not only very advanced in CAD, it is also exceptionally well
integrated between CAD and CAM. Suppose you create a pocketing routine to
mill out a pocket with islands. Then later you change the design, move some
of the islands and also change the size of the pocket. What you find is
that the CAM routines are fully aware of the CAD drawing. All the paths
that do the pocketing are recalculated based on the new geometry. You never
have to re-enter the CAM profiles or click on any of the CAM function icons,
all you do is change the CAD drawing and then rewrite the G-code file to
disk. This is the sort of integration which not expected and normally not
found in the low cost CAM programs.
