For a long time I was been very confused about
the difference between a G320 and G340 so if
I understand this right the G320 works with
the encoder resolution as is and the G340 actualy
divides this resolution to require lower pulse rates
from the computer.
Is the G340 adjustable for different division ratios?
Why call this a multiplier when what it dose is divide?

very reliable source that their resolution was too high and would
need the 340 instead and should stay below 250 quadrature for the
320. Thats what I remember but that may have been said due to the
software being only capable of 45,000 Hz. pulse rate.
