Well, it they are good quality, it will be much easier mounting them
than the ones from my HP Plotter. it looks like I'll be buying
something. maybe it will be Mariss's step multiplier to make them
work.

Actually, is the step multiplier a simple circuit that has been
posted or is it something not open source ?
