Hi Keith,

I am beginning to wonder if this is a compatibility issue with Geckos
and those BP steppers. I had exactly the same problem on my Z axis.
After blowing up several Geckos I junked the lot and fitted servos. This
is a fairly radical and expensive solution but it fixed the problems
once and for all.
