Hi Keith,
One thing I learned about Geckos is that you can never disconnect the
motor from the gecko whith power to the gecko or it intermittently
fries the drive. Same goes for startup. You can never apply power to
the drive, then connect the motor. A broken motor wire will fry the
drive. I don't know if you have a relay on the output of the gecko or
not, but if you do this could be your problem.
