Not very easy at all. You could replace the big transformer with 3 modest
single-phase units, or one huge one. If you are going to dig in and rewire
the whole thing, it may just make sense to do the whole retrofit right
at the
beginning. You cannot run the motor drives from a static converter. You
could run it from a good rotary converter.
