There are quite a few deffinatoins for accuracy.

one is repeatability. when carving a wood form, the cutter needs to
be able to put a line next to the last line. regardless of absolute
posistional accuracy that would come with ground ballscrews, allthread
will yield fantastic results.

As you mentioned, being modular, one can substiture the thread of
their choice as they wish.
