Ron, I was hoping that I would find someone who knows how to machine
granite surface plates. I would like to either drill thru the granite
and pass bolts thru to attach the gantry towers. Or if it is possible,
can "speed certs" be driven into a hole drilled in granite? Where can
I find out about machining granite?
