First, look for small dents on the edges of the motors. if they were dumped
in a bin, the end covers may have shifted and bound up the rotor. This is
pretty bad. You might be able to loosen the screws slightly and tap the
covers around until it frees up. But, this can also do damage to the rotor,
or crack the magnets. If the bearings are rusted, they can be replaced.
If the motors are very old, you want to do that without removing the
rotors from the motor, one end at a time.
