dxf to gcode to Galil DMC software

Announcement: Galil controller software demo.

After many hours of designing and testing I have finally developed a
4-azis motion controller program application, called gdmc, that does
adequate commanding of a Galil DMC18xx PCI based servo controller
card. I use for it for 100 watt CO2 laser cutting and etching
projects. Not too long ago it could only convert VisualMill
generated gcode files into the appropriate DMC commands. Now it can
do processing of dxf drawing files directly. (However, the dxf
importing filter has lots of growing pains at the moment so please
forgive it's idiosyncrasies ).
If you choose to check out gdmc you will be presented with a GUI
that has lots of buttons, dials, displays, widgets, etc., and the
best way to learn the ins and outs of gdmc is to "play" with all the
buttons. It was going to have a National Instruments LabVIEW
interface someday and thus it looks and feels a little LabVIEW'ish.

I am presenting gdmc to CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO audience in hopes of finding
others that would have an interest in its further development. The
CAM application is in the early stages of beta development. It is a
use full and unique tool for me to use and its time to find out if
any one else out there listing to the world wide web could get some
benefit out of the program too. Of course you would need Galil DMC
18xx PCI controller board to control a laser or router.
