Shawn,
Although the command set of the 1000 series is similar it's the
driver that communicates with this board that might be the problem.
It is referred to as a legacy controller and since I do not have
such a card so I really can't say for sure if Galil's bus-based
driver will connect to it. If Galil's dmc dll driver that is
installed with the application can register your 1000 series board
than I should be able to communicate with it. There will be a
notification message popped up when gdmc starts up if it can't find
a Windows registered controller.

Please let me know how your tests go.
