RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Press brake auto back stops - DRO / Accuracy

Yes, exactly what I'm looking for. I am a member of
the E-Leadscrew group and have been watching that as
well but never considered transferring to a
pressbrake. Where you could punch in ie 4.250" and
the backstop would go there. Also would be nice if
you could program in say 2 stops, for different length
bends w/o removing piece.... ie, put a .750" lip on at
90 degrees and then move back to 2.500" for another 90
degree at that distance. It would need to be somehow
timed w/ a switch though as vertical ram / dies moved
through first bend that it would send backstop to
another position for the second bend... I will check
out the E-Leadscrew a bit further!
In reality, I would even be happy if I could get DRO
on a simple backstop powered w/ manual mpg or some
such.
