Duh . . . Tell me: I readily admit I haven't gone puter-shoppin' in
years, as the three Compaq and HP desktops I have all work flawlessly since '92,
I guess, but I don't see 3.5" floppy-drive slots on the fronts of desktops in
ads and catalogs, nor "listed" on the attributes of desktops nor laptops for
sale, now. Whassa story? Is the 3.5 discontinued on ALL new stuff, now?
How does one move/edit small BASIC programs from one machine to the other? I
use floppies to carry ALL my "at-desk-written" CNC programs out to the shop!
I have to EDIT those almost always, "out there". How would I do this (edit
on the spot) with a CD??? Whassa story??? Jan Rowland, confused
