Hi David....

just for this reason some scale brands have a insulation kit coming with the scale.
If you dont have one simply get one from the electronic parts store.
a thin layer off plastic with some little plastic sleeves for the screws like they use for the Transistors.
Plastic screws and a plastic washer will do the trick also.
