Billy:
I got my ballscrews and nuts from McMaster Carr. I got two-per-axis and put a spring between each two. A hose clamp and a piece of aluminum angle holds it all together. Here's a picture:

The springs are valvesprings from an old lawnmower engine - nothing fancy. The ballscrews and ballnuts are the cheapest in the McMaster Carr catalog (website) and are 5/8" units.

Hello
I have started building a small cnc mill .Iam at the point that
i must select stepper motors and ball screws,
The table is a Enco milling table
I need 3 ball screws and nuts about 2o " long.
I am seeking advice about the screws and motors, remembering this
my first CNC build. It will be 4 axis ,one for a dividing head.
Does anyone have experience with rolled screws.
Help:o)
