Yes to a very small degree, it's not a "one size fits all" - the nuts
and screws are from the same manufacturer, their nuts won't fit another
screw I tried, even though nominally it was the same diameter and pitch.
The adjusters are described as a "pre-load" screw.

The nuts are not made of cast iron, they are Steel, Cf53, hardened,
ground and polished. (as per the spec in the link). The rolled screws
are accurately made, and from tests exceed their class 7 spec. The
design is copywrite, hence "everybody's" not doing it.

They are relatively cheap, and work very well, regardless of how they
are designed.
