Older Yaskawa Servo-Pak drives of the SGDA-##AP can take
step/direction signals. The SGDA-##AS take a velocity
command only (P=positioning, S=Speed). The ## are numbers
that describe the line voltage of the drive and watt rating of
the motors. Later drives can all take step/direction, I believe.
