Hi Hannu
Wow guess you now what your talking about, I really love Rhino and it takes
an eternity to get under the skin with maya but I like that to.
Rhino is also outstandig in dealing with different file formats so it works
really great with Maya except for the problem with mesh vs nurbs but thats a
great deal better now with Rhino4.
Autocad I only use when I get blueprints from Architects in my work with
public commissions (and I agree its no fun app).
About the ports:
Is mach 3 supporting more then 2 ports and do you think i need more then 2
ports for my machine?
I have an older cad computer with PIII with win xp and 2 parallel port on
it, but I use one for my vinyl-cutter, I have to pull that, if its enough
with 2 ports?
The problem getting it to work with multiple ports is if you add a second
pci card with one or two more ports so you get 3 or 4 parallel ports, right
(did I understand that correct)?
What is the hw-setting you talk about and where can I find this "konqueror
linux live cd" used google but its a browser as I can see it?
Does it exist external parallel cards? Stupid question probably.
The more I find out the more confused I am getting....
Regards
Per
