And then, there are the breakdowns. Apparently, if you leave it
on all the time, the Rabbit CPU that makes the G-rec work will
die after 1-2 months. Since the G-rex runs off 24 V, I'm
wondering if the regulator chip is just getting too hot. But,
there are a number of users who have reported the same problem.
Mariss is apparently taking this up with Rabbit now, no word on
what the problem is or how hard it will be to fix.

I am very pleased that a couple owners of large production shops
are now adopting EMC2, and retrofitting their older machines as
the original controls become troublesome. That's a vote of
confidence that you just can't "buy".
