Kind of, 1 full byte=256 so anything digital working with measurements would
simply be ably to move across by one byte to go from usable metric to usable
imperial units. 25.4 is fiddly and causes brain itch on Sunday mornings. If I
just got a life instead I wouldn't have to worry about this kind of thing :)
Think I'll just go with the 25.6mm inch and blame the Japanese if anyone
notices :)
