DYI? Do Yourself In? Wee, where back to the laser beams! On the serious note,
I have no idea but if anyone does they might know the name of a strange
phenomenon I remember seeing a few years ago. A light source is split in a
prism, the 2 beams are sent around a square an re-converge on the opposite
corner to the source. If one of the paths is blocked, the beam that is
emitted isn't from the open path, the open path is cut off and the emitted
beam comes from the closed path. Or something like that. I think quantum may
have been involved. Quantum could do with some attention too, I mean,
glueons. How are you supposed to take a science seriously when they come up
with things that are one small step away from
we-don't-really-know-so-we'll-make-it-up-as-we-go-along-ions. And as for
those sickos with the cat in the box....
