Rob,
ENCO has Bronze Bushings, 1/2IDx5/8ODx1/2L Model #325-7497 - $.46 ea (and there are others). These have close tolerance diameters.
Drill a relief hole for a setscrew, or slot for key clearance.
May be no help.

I will be retrofitting my BOSS6 Series 1 Bridgeport in the next few
weeks. I'm having a problem finding Shaft reducers to connect my
Hybrid 1200oz., 1/2" shafts, to the belt pulley on the machine which is
currently 5/8" diameter bore. Can someone offer a source for these
reducers? I've look thru SPI and McMaster Carr, but can't seem to
locate the correct size.
