You would need to get an electrician or someone with the equipment and
abilities to measure the start-up load for the motor. Sombody out on
the group might know. Some of the machines I worked on years ago if the
data plate said 80 amp you needed that many amps to even get it started
because of the start up load.
Check with the power company they may have a 3 PH power line near you.
At my house I have 3PH on the lines across the street. If I want 3PH
all it will cost is for a meter box and Circuit breaker box. Alliant
energy will run it to my garage at no expense to me.
That may be an option for you to think about.
