there is nothing to "correct" here, solid works can export .stl files which bob cad can work with. I did not mean that an .stl file is a solid works file, but the best file solid works can export for bob cad to use. (I did not think it worth my time to explain details, but ended up doing that anyway to defend my position).

not meaning to "correct" anyone but STL is not a Solidworks file - it's a
format that Solidworks can export and it's probably the best format to
choose when dealing with multiple apps as it's become kind of a standard
because it's supported by many apps :) I use it to go from Solidworks to
