Most motherboards still have the parallel port as pins on the board. You
need a header to bring it out to a card slot on the back of the machine.
Check the documentation for your particular motherboard. Look between
the PCI slots for the model number and Google it.
This will give you an idea of what they look like, but you may need a
different one:
