OK, I don't consider making the OS run on a wide variety of hardware bug
fixing.
And, I have no idea how many people are involved in that kind of driver
support,
but at least at one time I was aware that the Taiwan video board makers were
changing the combination of video chip, memory, RAMDACs every two weeks,
and it must have driven MS people insane to keep track and test against
all that
variation. Maybe that hardware variability has settled down (I hope so!).
