Hi,
If these are similar to the caliper interfaces, I have temporarily
posted scanned images of an article on the serial interface. They
used a SBC to translate the RS232 format signals to regular RS232,
but you could work up a direct connection easily.
You can find the common ground with an ohmmeter my checking
continuity to the battery contacts - terminal and
the 4pins suspected as the 'serial' port.
The others are probably clk and data. the 4th
will probably be a hold indicator or etc.
