Dan,
I was playing with them last night with the program set to 20,000 for a 5TPI
lead screw (The McMaster Carr ball screws I am using). Rotating the encoder
shaft as fast as I could through 5 revolutions seemed to consistently yield
a reading of 1". I will have to try booting the program setting to 40,000
and see if it blows up.
