According to my calculations you would need to set the program to 81,920
counts per inch to cover someone using the 2048 CPR encoders on a 10 TPI
lead screw. So, if the choice is 65,000 or in the billions, it will have to
be in the billions. Realistically, the 65,000 choice would cover most
reasonable configurations.
Guess I am saying I would vote for the 65,000 figure.
