please correct me if I am off the mark here)
1) If you have specific pricing questions ask off list we will have a
private conversation about what is included, if you have any special
requirements, shipping terms, etc. I realize that e-mail addresses
get munged by the on-line version. I try to keep our group html page
in my signature when I post by e-mail, which is normal, unless I'm
here in person like I have been for the last day or so. That page
now has e-mail addresses that work.
2) General Vector application or functioning of possible e-group
interest, Absolutely, especially if there are questions about
comparisons to other systems where vector starts, stops, etc.
Special problem solving capabiities, etc.
3) Our Vector forum has almost 2 1/2 years of Q & A. If a question
is posted there I get TWO e-mails. It has text string searches for
context and related posts. It is not fair to take this groups
bandwidth with how to save a DXF file in Vector, and at the same time
6 other Vector users may have the same need and can share the answer
day or night.
best bet would be to check the forum & then e-mail. We treat our
demo users as if they were customers already. Right now I have a
problem with W2000 OS & am pulling my hair out trying to help 2 guys
that are trying to get running. A lot of people call when they start
to use the demo so that they can get a running start. I expect that
by the time they do that there is a basic understanding if not
comprehension of the 4 rules at the beginning of the manual. ;-)
was moot because all our demo requestors received the full package.
Prior to that time we did not send out ANY demo without the 168 page,
printed tutorial manual & the other 5-6 PDF manuals on the CD.
the ONLY way to do CAD. ;-)
Vector should be a breath of fresh air as it will let you work in 3
dimensions, right up to the limits of your milling envelope.
