Perhaps if you want to 'carve' figures you should look at a machine based on
a robot arm. This could have 3 or four joints plus rotation of the cutting
head and have a tunrtable to stand the figure being worked on vertically. It
would be a very impressive machine to see working.
Remember to post a movie to the drop box when you've made one ;o)
